CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre Launches “CyberBoost Build” to Support Early-Stage Cybersecurity Startups
Singapore, September 2024 — CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre, a leading cybersecurity ecosystem builder, has announced the launch of one of its latest initiatives, CyberBoost Build, aimed at nurturing innovative, young and uprising cybersecurity startups. The six-month program is designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs and founders build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and get ready for commercialisation.
In partnership with Plug and Play Asia Pacific, CyberBoost Build is structured to provide intensive support to startups through 3-months of Hothousing in conjunction with a 6-months of venture guidance in parallel. This allows startups to refine their products and scale for the competitive cybersecurity market, especially in Southeast and East Asia.
Seven Promising Startups Selected
CyberBoost is proud to announce that seven startups have been selected to participate in this inaugural cohort:
- CipherPlus
- Cybernatics
- Hexcore Labs
- Identi.ly
- Proofmarked
- SortieLab
- Zavior
These startups, chosen from a global pool of applicants, will undergo intensive mentoring, product development and business fundamental workshops under the guidance of cybersecurity veterans and successful entrepreneurs.
Program Highlights
The CyberBoost Build program is tailored for startups that:
– Have an early-stage product and are ready to build an MVP.
– Are registered businesses or in the process of incorporating.
– Are planning to scale their business across Southeast and East Asia within the next year.
– Are committed to in-person participation in Singapore for the full duration of the program.
Throughout the program, startups will receive personalized mentoring, access to industry networks, and guidance on critical aspects such as product development, market entry, and business scaling.
Demo Day: A Showcase of Innovation
The program will culminate in Innovation Day in November 2024, where the seven startups will give their best pitch to an audience of investors, Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), and key stakeholders from the cybersecurity industry. This demo day presents a valuable opportunity for these early-stage companies to gain visibility, secure potential funding, and form partnerships that will drive their future growth.
