OTRS Group first developed the cybersecurity solution for Cyber Security Teams of the German Government CERT in 2003. STORM was released in 2017 as a universal solution for security teams. OTRS systems are widely used and trusted (about 40% of DAX listed company) in EMEA.
STORM allows structuring communication and processes for (cyber) security processes among collaborators. It is a secure orchestration and automation platform for incident response and communication.
Product Description
STORM is a solution based on the OTRS platform. It is a bundle of 20 years of knowledge in the cybersecurity area with best practices configuration and code-based solutions enhancing the OTRS platform.
The solution covers several kinds of security topics, use cases and teams: Cybersecurity Teams (operational) like SOC and CERT/CSIRT, Product Security Teams (PSIRT), Corporate Security Teams (e.g., Plant Security, Travel Security, Counter industrial espionage teams). It is typically a part of IT Security Management Systems (ISMS) covering the needs of strategic and governance teams.
