Jakarta, Indonesia | 26–28 August 2026
The CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre, in partnership with SGTech and ASEAN Innovation Business Platform (AIBP), led a delegation of 10 Singapore cybersecurity companies to Jakarta, Indonesia, from 26 to 28 August 2026, as part of the AIBP 2026 Conference.
The initiative aimed to accelerate the regional expansion of Singapore cybersecurity companies by providing opportunities to showcase innovative solutions, engage with key Indonesian stakeholders, and explore potential business collaborations in one of Southeast Asia’s largest digital economies.
The participating companies were Axisnow, Blackscore, Cyberknights, Digify, ECQ, Gaincontrol, Netrust, SC Cyber, Threatbook, and Zeroport, representing a diverse range of cybersecurity capabilities and solutions.
Through a series of industry showcases, focused workshops, corporate visits, business matching sessions and networking engagements, the delegation gained valuable insights into Indonesia’s evolving cybersecurity landscape while establishing connections with potential customers, partners and government stakeholders.

Showcasing Singapore’s Cybersecurity Innovations
A key highlight of the conference was the Lightning Showcase, where participating Singapore companies took to the stage to introduce their cybersecurity solutions to an audience of Indonesian enterprises, industry leaders and technology stakeholders.
The showcase provided a platform for the companies to demonstrate their capabilities, raise brand awareness and highlight how Singapore-developed cybersecurity innovations could address emerging security challenges faced by organisations across Indonesia.
Complementing the showcase, the delegation participated in multiple one-on-one business meetings with prospective customers and partners. These targeted engagements enabled companies to better understand local market requirements, identify potential areas of collaboration and explore opportunities for future business development.

Facilitating Industry Dialogue on AI Governance and Cyber Resilience
Beyond showcasing innovative solutions, the programme facilitated substantive discussions on pressing cybersecurity challenges through two focused industry workshops.
The Financial Services and Digital Business Workshop brought together 27 participants from regulatory bodies, banks, insurance companies and digital businesses to examine the challenges of adopting artificial intelligence while maintaining effective data governance and security oversight.
Discussions explored how organisations could translate responsible AI principles into practical governance frameworks, manage the risks of employees sharing sensitive information through public AI platforms, and strengthen visibility over third-party access to business-critical data. Participants also highlighted the importance of data quality and closer coordination between business, IT security and governance teams.
A separate workshop on Protecting Critical Infrastructure and National Cyber Resilience, involving Indonesia’s National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), examined the cybersecurity challenges faced by critical infrastructure operators.
The discussion highlighted the gap between established enterprise IT security controls and the unique requirements of operational technology environments. Participants explored challenges associated with legacy infrastructure, geographically dispersed operations and the need to maintain uninterrupted essential services while strengthening cybersecurity defences.
These discussions provided valuable market intelligence for the Singapore delegation, offering a deeper understanding of Indonesia’s cybersecurity priorities and potential opportunities for solution deployment and collaboration.

Exploring Enterprise Opportunities Through Corporate Visits
To provide the delegation with firsthand exposure to Indonesia’s enterprise cybersecurity landscape, the programme included corporate visits to two major Indonesian organisations.
At PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), one of Indonesia’s leading cement producers, the delegation engaged in discussions on enterprise cybersecurity governance, security operations and the challenges of protecting complex business ecosystems.
SIG shared insights into its established cybersecurity capabilities, including incident response, security monitoring, red and blue team operations, and employee cybersecurity awareness.
With approximately 11,000 employees, 200 distributors and an extensive network of around 60,000 retail participants, SIG’s operating environment illustrated the importance of standardised security practices, clear accountability and effective incident response across large-scale enterprise ecosystems.
The visit created opportunities for the Singapore companies to exchange perspectives with SIG’s representatives and explore potential areas for future collaboration.
The delegation also visited Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), where discussions centred on the growing adoption of AI within financial services and its implications for cybersecurity.
The engagement explored applications such as fraud detection, credit scoring, personalised financial recommendations and investment analytics. Discussions highlighted the need for differentiated security approaches across AI use cases, including model governance, identity and access management, data protection, and secure information exchange.
Both visits provided participating companies with valuable insights into enterprise needs and opportunities to explore how their solutions could support Indonesia’s digital transformation and cybersecurity objectives.

Strengthening Connections with Indonesia’s Digital Ecosystem
Recognising the importance of local partnerships in supporting successful market entry, the programme featured a networking lunch on 28 August 2026, connecting the Singapore delegation with representatives from Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (KOMDIGI), the Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH), the Indonesian Digital Industry Association (ADIGSI), and local technology and cybersecurity businesses.
The engagement brought together 20 identified Indonesian ecosystem participants, including representatives from government agencies, industry associations and the private sector.
Representatives from KOMDIGI, AFTECH and ADIGSI shared insights into their organisations’ priorities, initiatives and efforts to develop an inclusive and competitive digital economy.
The session enabled the Singapore companies to gain a deeper understanding of Indonesia’s digital ecosystem, establish relationships with key industry stakeholders and explore potential introductions to local partners and business networks.

Building Meaningful Partnerships at Sore Bersama
Another highlight of the programme was Sore Bersama, a networking session held at the Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta.
The event brought together 75 attendees, comprising Singapore cybersecurity companies, Indonesian business partners, industry representatives and other key stakeholders.
In a more informal setting, participants exchanged insights on emerging cybersecurity trends, discussed potential business opportunities and strengthened connections across the Singapore and Indonesian technology ecosystems.
The networking session provided an important platform for relationship-building, supporting the delegation’s efforts to establish a stronger presence in Indonesia and develop longer-term partnerships within the market.
Advancing Singapore’s Cybersecurity Presence in Southeast Asia
The CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre’s participation in AIBP 2026 underscores its continued commitment to supporting the internationalisation of Singapore’s cybersecurity industry.
By combining innovation showcases with targeted business matching, industry dialogues, corporate engagements and strategic networking opportunities, the programme provided participating companies with a comprehensive platform to better understand the Indonesian market and identify potential pathways for regional expansion.
The collaboration with SGTech and ASEAN Innovation Business Platform further strengthened connections between Singapore’s cybersecurity ecosystem and Indonesia’s government, enterprise and technology communities.
Through initiatives such as AIBP 2026, the CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre continues to bridge Singapore cybersecurity innovators with regional opportunities, fostering cross-border collaboration and supporting the growth of a more resilient and interconnected ASEAN digital economy. A huge thanks to the 10 companies that participated, SGTech and AIBP.
